Unseen Fashion Faces and Figures - LCF x Cass Art

Group Exhibition, 1st -10th October, London College of Fashion's East Bank Campus.

“The Unseen Fashion Faces and Figues exhibition aims to widen and further represent parameters and progress, through the art of fashion illustration. The exhibition features over forty artists’ works that go beyond current norms and represent people of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds, cultural and ethnic origins, abilities, and unique characteristics within a fashion context!”

This series of work is created in response to the ongoing lack of body shape representation in menswear fashion, particularly on the runway. While size representation in women's runway fashion is visible, albeit limited, menswear is even further behind, with the standardisation of body shapes being commonplace. This work aims to open a conversation about these narrow beauty ideals and to celebrate a more authentic representation of humankind.
